Smock is suffering from a severe case of painter's block. He'll have to face his inner demons of creativity if he wants to finish his art project.

Harness the power of paint to battle against fearsome foes and solve puzzles while traversing the barren wasteland of Smock's inspiration. And maybe add some color to the environment while you're at it.

This game was made for Mini Jam 62. The theme was "Colors," and all animations were required to use no more than two frames.

Such a fun game, left me wanting for more. Especially loved the different styles to attack. I go for the ranged blue ones first because that makes it a lot easier. Finishing a puzzle paint thing was really satisfying too. Great job :)

Such a full game jam game. Took the 2 frame constraint and came out with charming characters and gameplay. Liked the theming use of paint for puzzle and combat.

Platforming was a little wonky at times, but solid enough to give me a satisfying point A to point B challenge.

Wish I had an OTS view for when shooting (especially the blue paint). Character gets in the way of aiming. Can also be in the way of seeing enemy "paint bullets" while aiming --> Feels tedious. I could see one arguing it adds memorization and coordination challenge, but I also don't feel that fits the game. Just my 2 cents.

At the end of the day, good game!

A fun romp with endearing characters and joyful graphical flourishes! I quite like the opening sequence, very cute. Overall the aesthetics are just well done, great job to the team. The two frame animations fit well. I found the gameplay a bit basic, but it is a jam after all. puzzling out to figure out how to paint the squares was surprisingly fun.

I think I encountered a bug on a level with like 8 enemies on 1 island, where there was an invisible wall covering the exit after clearing all enemies, and I jumped over it and got softlocked falling out of the world.

Really like the aesthetics! Whooooosh!
